Eileen & Liam Baxter, My family and I recently spent a week at your Slieve Martin cottage. I would like to say that the cottage suited our needs perfectly. We found it clean, comfortable, peaceful and quiet. The location also allowed us to visit most of the places we had planned to see. Hope this finds you well, and once again, thanks.

In the foothills of the Mourne Mountains, just outside Rostrevor, County Down, you will find Rostrevor Holidays, the family-run self-catering accommodation, located on a peaceful 24-acre farm.
Eight Tourist Board Approved 3-star holiday cottages and two 5-star houses are built in a traditional style with magnificent views over the Mourne Mountains and down Rostrevor Valley to Carlingford Lough.
The Mourne Mountains are an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making Rostrevor Holidays the perfect place for hill walking, horse riding, or mountain biking. Rostrevor is reachable in an hour by car from Belfast and 90 minutes from Dublin, making Rostrevor Holidays accessible self-catering accommodation in the Mournes. Both Dublin and Belfast have major airports and ferry terminals. Newry, a lively market town with great shopping is only 10 miles away, whilst Rostrevor village, although small, has good shops and places to eat.
Traditional style is combined with modern day comfort inside all of the self-catering accommodation. With a variation in layout from cottage to cottage to give each a unique feel, a high level of interior outfit is standard. The open plan living/kitchen and dining areas have the traditional tiled floor and turf fire, combined with a well-equipped modern kitchen. All of the accommodation has oil-fired central heating.
There is plenty to do on-site, with a children's playground, tennis court, and a 1.5km riverside/farm walk. Plenty of space to get back in touch with nature!

"Our stay for a week in a Lecale Cottages in the Mourne Mountains, was the highlight of our one month trip to Ireland. The setting is very very peaceful and restful, the location is really great for walks, drives and outings through the Mourne Mountains and nearby villages and Forests, the facilities in the cottages are excellent, and the hosts are really friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
